Follow the steps below to successfully set up and install a Meta Pixel on your website. Before you begin, you will need a website for your business and the ability to add code to your website's header.

How to set up a Meta Pixel
Step 1
- Go to Events Manager
- Click the + button
- Select Connect data sources and choose Web
Step 2
- Select Meta Pixel and click Connect
Step 3
- Add your pixel name
Step 4
- Enter your website URL to check for easy set-up options
- Click Continue
You have now successfully created your Meta Pixel. Next, install it on your website.
Option A: Manually add the Pixel to your website
Step 1
- Go to Events Manager
Step 2
- Select the pixel you want to set up
Step 3
- Select Install code manually
Step 4
- Find the header of your website, or locate the header template in your CMS or web platform
Step 5
- Paste the base code at the bottom of the header section, just above the closing
</head>tag - Press Continue
Option B: Use a partner integration
Steps
- Go to Events Manager
- Click the Data Sources icon in the left-hand panel
- Select the pixel you want to set up
- Click Continue pixel set up
- Click Use a partner from the list
- Select your platform partner from the list
- Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the integration
Option C: Email instructions to a developer
If someone else manages the code on your website, you can email them setup instructions directly from Events Manager:
- Go to Events Manager
- Select the pixel you want to set up
- Click Continue Pixel set up
- Click Email instructions
- Enter the recipient's email address
- Click Send at the bottom of the page
